Hillsboro Shores is a distinctive seaside neighborhood in northern Pompano Beach, tucked between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal near the Hillsboro Inlet. Its greatest draw is the unusual opportunity to live just steps from the sand in a quiet residential setting. Eligible property owners may join the voluntary Hillsboro Shores Improvement Association, which provides member access to the neighborhood’s gated private beach entrance.

The community includes an eclectic mix of charming coastal homes, updated residences, and multimillion-dollar properties, with some waterfront homes offering private docks and convenient ocean access. Golf-cart-friendly streets, the nearby Hillsboro Lighthouse, marinas, fishing, and waterfront dining give Hillsboro Shores the intimate character of a true beach neighborhood.
